11.17

Researchers from several countries formed a research team found that drinking tea or coffee usually can reduce the risk of brain cancer.

The researchers in France, the Netherlands, Italy and Britain took 8-year survey of more than 410,000 subjects aged 25 to 70-year-old adults. The study includes the eating habits of respondents, in particular, whether drinking regular tea or coffee.

In the survey, 343 were diagnosed with glioma, 245 people suffering from meningioma. The former is a central nervous system, cancer diseases, from glial cell lesions. The latter from the meninges and the meningeal space derivatives change.

Study found that people often drink tea or coffee than tea or coffee, often suffer from a lower risk of brain cancer. Specifically, if more than 100 ml per day to drink coffee or tea, chances of glioma will be decreased by 34%. This role is particularly evident in men.

The researchers also pointed out that even though studies show that regular drinking tea or coffee will help prevent brain cancer, but it is uncertain between the two have a clear causal relationship, still needs further research to find these two drinks will actually help prevent brain cancer.
